Causative Verb yaitu sebuah kalimat yang membuktikan bahwa subject dari kalimat tersebut seolah olah tidak melaksanakan tindakan, melainkan orang lain yang melaksanakan tindakan yang diinginkan oleh subject tersebut. Kaprikornus terperinci sekali fungsi dari Causative Verb ini yaitu untuk orang lain yang akan menggantikan tindakan dari subject kalimat. Sehingga dalam kalimat active dalam causative verb memiliki dua pelaku, satu sebagai subject yang tidak melaksanakan tindakan dan satunya lagi yaitu pelaku atau yang sering disebut sebagai agent. Biasanya dalam Causative verb memakai kata kata Let, have, get, make akan tetapi dalam penerapannya kata kata tersebut memiliki fungsi dan teladan yang sedikit tidak sama

1. Let
Causative Verb dengan kata kerja “ Let” berarti si subject mengijinkan pelaku untuk melaksanakan seusatu.perhatikan kalimat dibawah ini

2. Make
Causative Verb “ Make” memiliki arti “ memerintah / memaksa seseorang ( agent) untuk melaksanakan suatu tindakan. Perhatikan kalimat dibawah ini .

3. Have.
Causative Verb “ have” memiliki arti mempersembahkan seseorang tanggung tanggapan untuk melaksanakan sesuatu “ perhatikan kalimat dibawah ini.

4. Get
Causative Verb Get bahwasanya memiliki arti/makna yang hampir menyerupai dengan “have” akan tetapi cenderung lebih memaksa. Rumus atau teladan Causative Verb

Kalimat passive dalam Causative Verb / have something done
Kalimat passive dalam Causative verb atau sering dikenal dengan Have something done tidak sama dengan kalimat active dalam causative verb. Perhatikan rumus atau teladan dalam kalimat passive Causative Verb. Perbedaan antara Causative Verb Passive dan active terletak pada kata sehabis kata Have/Let/Get/make, seandainya kata sehabis have/let/get/make yaitu subject atau pelaku maka kalimat tersebut yaitu kalimat Causative Verb berbentuk active sedangkan jikalau kata sehabis Have/Let/Get/make yaitu kata benda atau object maka yaitu bentuk kalimat Causative Verb passive rumusnya menyerupai diberikut ini.
