The Magic Box
Once upon a time, there was a poor farmer who lived with his wife. One day, he dug up his field and found a big box. He took it home with him and showed it to his wife. His wife cleguad the box and kept it in their house.
One sunny morning his wife dropped an apple into it. Suddenly the box began fill up with apples. No matter how many the apples were taken out, more apples took their place. So the farmer and his wife decide to sell the apples and in short time they were able to live quite comfortably. One day, the farmer dropped a gold coin into the box. At once, apples disappeared and the box began to fill itself with coins. Every day, the farmer and his wife collected hundreds of gold coins from the box. Soon they became very rich.
Having heard that his son had gone rich, the farmer‟s grandfather visited the couple. He was not very strong and he could not go out to work anymore. So the farmer asked the old man to help him take the money out of the box. When his grandfather told his son that he was tired and wanted to have arrest, the farmer shouted at him,” why are you so lazy? Why can‟t you work harder?” The old man didn‟t say anything, and continued to work until he fell into the box and suddenly died. At once, the money disappeared and the box began to fill up with dead grandfathers.
The farmer had to pull them out and bury them. To do this, he had to spend all the money he had collected. When he had used up all the money, the box broke and the farmer was just as poor as he was before.

Terjemahan dari Narrative Text “ The Magic Box “
Pada jaman lampau , ada sebuah petani miskin yang hidup dengan istrinya. Suatu hari, ia menggali lading dan menemukan sebuah peti besar. Dia membawa benda tersebut ke rumahnya dan menunjukkannya ke istrinya. Istrinya memmembersihkankan kotakan tersebut dan menjaganya didalam rumah mereka.
Pada pagi hari yang cerah istri petani tersebut mejatuhkan sebuah apple kedalam peti. Tiba datang peti tersebut terisi penuh dengan apple. Sehingga petani tersebut dan istrinya memutuskan untuk menjual aple apple tersebut dan dalam waktu yang bersamaan mereka sanggup hidup dengan nyaman. Suatu hari, petani menjatuhkan emas koin emas kedalam peti tersebut. melaluiataubersamaini segera, aple aple tersebut menghilang dan peti tersebut terisi oleh koin. Setiap hari, petani dan istrinya mengumpulkan ratusan koin emas dari peti. Sehingga dengan segera ia menjadi sangat kaya.
Mendengar anaknya menjadi kaya, ayah dari petani tersebut mengunjunginya. Dia tidak cukup berpengaruh dan tidak sanggup pergi bekerja lagi. Sehingga petani tersebut menminta orang tuanya untuk mengambilsendiri uang dari dalam peti tersebut.. dikala kakek tersebut menyampaikan pada anaknya bahwa ia sangat lelah dan ingin diberistirahat, petani tersebut menyampaikan “ mengapa engkau sangat malas? Mengapa engkau tidak bekerja lebih keras?” orang renta tersebut tidakmengatakna apapun, dan ia melanjutkan usaspesialuntuk dan ia terjatuh ke dalam peti dan datang tiba mati. melaluiataubersamaini segera,uang menghilang dan peti tersebut meliputi penuh jenazah kakek tersebut.
Petani tersebut harus mengeluarkan tiruana jenazah dan menguburkannya. Untuk melaksanakan ini, ia harus menghabiskan tiruana uang yang sudah di simpan. Ketika ia sudah memakai seluruh uang, peti tersebut rusak dan petani tersebut kembali miskin menyerupai sebelumnya.
